A flat plan tells you where the cabinets go. It does not tell you how the room will feel. That gap is where most kitchen regret lives.
What changes on screen
Island position is the big one. On paper a 900mm walkway looks generous; rendered, you can see it is tight against the oven door. Moving it costs nothing before manufacture and a great deal afterwards.
Finishes in context
A colour chip is not a kitchen. Seeing a finish across a full run, with your flooring and your light, changes decisions regularly — usually towards something calmer than the chip suggested.
What it does not replace
A render is a guide to form and layout, not a colour proof. Screens vary too much. Always pick the final colour from a physical sample in the actual room.
